Political Candidates

As “The Home of Community Radio,” America Matters Media is pleased to be an active participant in the upcoming elections.  We welcome all candidates to join us on air to tell the community about yourself and your candidacy, free of charge.  We are pleased that so many candidates from all parties have already chosen our shows to announce their candidacies.  We want to thank all those who step into the public arena as a candidate in our sometimes trying political process.

If you are a candidate or a representative for or against any ballot initiative, please contact Eddie Floyd at eddie@americamatters.us or call 775.384-4444 or Kelly Rush at kelly@americamatters.us or call 775-827-8900 to schedule your on-air guest appearances.

America Matters Media encourages everyone to tune in, get to know your candidates and the issues, and vote!

PLEASE NOTE: The number of times a candidate joins us on air does not indicate an endorsement.  While some show hosts may voice their individual preferences, America Matters Media, the company, does not endorse candidates.

To run paid ads during election season, please contact Dane Wilt at Lotus Corp. by phone at 775-329-9261 or eMail dane@lotusradio.com.

Thank you for having me on your show to talk about our campaign for Nevada State Assembly District 2!

It’s interesting to note that in a recent email blast from Mr. Mike Clark regarding Chip Evans he beats the guy up about transparency….look at the pot calling the kettle black. Why doesn’t Mr. Clark ever mention his other business interests, i.e. Mortgage Broker with Wholesale Lending; Real Estate Broker with TransAction Realty….I guess he doesn’t consider THOSE businesses any sort of conflict of interest with is job as Assessor….and how about talking with the Assessor’s office staff, word is that Mr. Clark is rarely there….so what the hell are we paying him for? Is this just vacation money or a salary to pad the lack of business for his other interests?
